Hello, I'm Gareth, I believe everyone has the right to live a happy and enjoyable life, even when things are really tough!

I have been an Integrative Counsellor for over 10 years, having experience working with a wide range of clients - in my own private practice, within an NHS IAPT Counselling service, a hospital Cancer team, and a specialist bereavement service.

 

I am an Accredited Member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The main purpose of the Register is to protect the public and help you find a therapist you can trust. It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that a BACP-registered Counsellors adheres to high standards of proficiency, professionalism and good practice.

 

I am also an accredited Clinical Supervisor.  

 

 

I specialise in many different areas of life, including bereavement, loss, stress, anxiety, depression, cancer and LGBTQ+ issues.

Qualifications and Training 

My integrative training and experience allow me to draw upon a number of successful 

theories enabling me to support and encourage you to explore your past, present or future concerns.

I adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework - a guideline for practitioners which closely correlates with my personal code of ethics. More information can be found here.
